Stamp Stories from around the world

Just after the second world war a series of seven stamps depicting the famous “Berlin Bear” was issued in the allied zone: Berlin and Brandenburg. They were issued with both normal perforation (14) and zigzag rouletting (13½). In this type of separation the cuts/holes are arranged in a triangular pattern as can be seen from the picture. Todays stamp has a face value of 6 pfennig and a CV of 150 €.
