In 1871 the first newspaper stamp was issued depicting a posthorn with the mouthpiece to the right. No denomination was shown but the face value was one Kreuzer. This type of stamp was also issued perforated in denominations of 2-25 Kreuzer. Todays stamp is a wonderfully cancelled copy with a CV of 40 euros.
