NORWAYS first stamp was issued 1. Januar 1855. It is very rare in mint condition with a CV of 35.000 Nkr. (approx. 4.000 €). A cancelled copy have a CV of only 100 €. Many used copies were pen cancelled, and some people tried to remove the cancellation to get a mint copy. I found the above copy in a Hungarian collection bought in Germany. I send it to a Norwegian expert. He could not say for sure if it was a genuine mint copy. It was sold for 3.700 Nkr. (approx.. 350 €).
