Todays stamp from The Central African Republic show the moth Dactyloceras widenmanni. It belongs to the family Brahmaeidae. It was first described by Ferdinand Karsch, a German entomologist, in 1895. It is found in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, South Africa, The Central African Republic and Tanzania.
