In the period from 1870 to 1874, the last skilling stamps were issued. In 1870-1871, three line-perforated stamps were issued with a face value of 2, 4 and 48 skilling. In 1871-74, five similar stamps were issued: 2, 3, 4, 8 and 16 shillings. But this edition was comb-perforated. Today’s stamp is the mint 16 skilling stamp issued in 1871. It has a catalog value of approx. $1,000.
