On July 1 in 1851, a three-cent stamp with the portrait of George Washington (1732-1799) was issued. The stamp exists in two types. Type I is with an outer frame line at the top and at the bottom. Type II is without these frame lines. Todays stamp is a Type I mint copy . The catalog value is approx. 100 $.
