The 10th country to issue stamps was Spain. On 1. January 1850 Spain issued three stamps showing the portrait of Queen Isabella II (1830-1904). She was Queen of Spain from 29. September 1833 until 30. September 1868. She is the only queen in the history of Spain. Notice that she became a queen when she was only three years old. Todays stamp is the most common with a denomination of 6 cuartos
