This stamp was issued in Germany in 1949 to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the “One kreuzer black”, or “Schwarzer Einser”, that was the first postage stamp issued in the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1849.This stamp is cancelled with a beautiful red cancel from “München” (Munich).
