Romagna is a region in Italy. Until 1859 it was a part of “The Papal States”, but in that year Romagna became an independent region. But already in 1860 it became part of the Kingdom of Sardinia. Romagna’s first and only nine stamps were issued on 1 September 1859. Today’s stamp is the issue with a face value of 6 Bajocchi (Baj).
